Holiday Break Camps for Kids
Aerial Camps at Aerial Cirque Over Denver
Do you have a child who swings on ropes, loves to climb, and runs fearlessly to the monkey bars? Our aerial dance summer camp at Aerial Cirque Over Denver is perfect for that adventurous spirit!
Camp is for ages 6 to teen. We have morning and afternoon options available starting the end of May through mid-August. In these youth circus camps in Denver, kiddos learn technique and skills on 4 apparatuses, silks, trapeze, hoop (also known as lyra), and sling. Aerial silks are the most popular aerial apparatus and we spend the most time on these in camp! For example, students learn how to spin, fly, climb, and do footlock tricks in the silks. On trapeze and lyra student learn tricks such as birds nest, ice skater, pull over, and more. Every camp day is split into learning two different apparatus. This keeps students engaged and trying new things every day! At the end of the week long camp most students have the foundational skills needed to join one of our Beginner or Intermediate level classes. There are half day camp options and full day camp options. Come enjoy our summer camp Denver!
Also view our aerial dance classes in Denver for Youth, Pre-Teen, and Teen students!
We like to break free from giving endless directions to follow, and instead follow our young artists as they think outside the box. At artSPARK camps, kids will have time to problem-solve, use critical thinking skills, collaborate, experiment, invent, and be exposed to artists, materials, and processes that make them think and generate their own ideas.
Teacher guided and Student Led…Designed for your creative child! Draw, paint, print, collage, build, sew, weave, or tinker around making your ideas happen! artSPARK offers creative choices for 2-D & 3-D ideas. It’s like a creative playground in an organized environment guided by experienced instructors.
We let kids find what lights their "spark" and then fuel the fire. Your child will make something personally meaningful and age appropriate based on their skill level. Campers will be encouraged to reflect and discover what is important to them, using their own ideas and making choices through the creative process. We do cooperative and collaborative activities including sensory play to encourage broadening perspectives and interacting with others.
