New Year 2019

Happy New Year!

The expedition for this new quarter continues to visit our year long Big Ideas:

• All things in the world are connected
• Patterns exist in this world
• Understanding impacts outcomes

This quarter, we will be studying the top five religions in the world (Buddhism, Islam, Hinduism, Christianity, and Judaism). We will also be studying migration patterns, world sustainability, and the architecture and patterns found in nature. The study of World Religions is a 7th grade CO Academic Standard and is covered in the neighborhood schools as well. Please be assured the teachers will not share or force his/her beliefs on the students and students cannot persuade others either. We are simply striving to give the students global understanding and awareness of the world we live in, thus making connections with who they are and how they got here.

If you have any expertise in these religions and would consider being a guest speaker, please let us know. I have someone in mind for the study of Hinduism.
