Welcome to our Holocaust museum, where you have the opportunity to investigate the Holocaust in collaboration with your peers. You will explore exhibits in a 3 - 4 person tour group. Your job is to use your background knowledge and new information from the exhibits to deepen your understanding of this historical event. Through this experience, we will explore these essential questions:
How was it possible for a modern society to carry out genocide?
What is the role and responsibility of the individual in the larger society? How can I make a difference?
Students will rotate through the stations and follow the directions in order to document their learning. At each exhibit, a poster provides an introduction to the topic.
If completing this activity online, you will need to print out the student packet and complete the online activities. You will need to print two additional forms: Exhibit 3 has a Primary Source Analysis Tool (one page) & Exhibit 4 has Some Were Neighbors two sided analysis form.
