Grade 6 Reading

In this class, students will be reading a variety of fictional and nonfictional materials. This class will focus on the following areas of literacy: Alabama Reading Initiative Strategies (ARI); Reading (Independent reading, Literature Circles; Whole group); Writing (Various modes of writing, Collaborative classroom blog); Speaking and Listening (Discussion, Presentations). 6th Graders are required to have at least one semester of reading.
