Meet Mrs. Kayla

Kayla Cox

I grew up in Town Creek, Alabama where I graduated from Hatton High in 2008. I received my undergraduate degree from UNA (GO LIONS!) in 2012. I taught English Language Learners in Morgan County for nine years, during which time I received my graduate degree in School Counseling from UWA in 2019. I now happily serve as the 6th grade counselor here at Austin Middle School.

 My family lives in Trinity and we love to garden, raise chickens, and hang at the pool. You can most often catch us at a ball game year around. Our kids love all things sports and nature. We love traveling, watching the NFL, and making time for all the memories and experiences we can.

 I look forward to getting to know your family this year!
