**IMPORTANT** Please practice being independent with your child. Opening up snacks, putting on their backpacks, blowing their noses, etc. Now is the time to get them used to doing more on their own and the more practice the better!
**Also** Please label EVERYTHING!!! Sometimes we have duplicates and we don't know what belongs to who!

Fall Picture Day - Wednesday, September 23rd
Fall Picture Day - Wednesday, September 23rd
Fall Picture Day is Wednesday, September 23rd, and IOP Photography will be on campus to capture your student’s special school-year memories.
On picture day, students will come home with a slip containing a unique picture code and QR code. Families can scan the QR code to view their student’s photos and explore available picture packages and purchase options.
Volunteers Needed!
We’re looking for parent volunteers to help make Picture Day run smoothly! Volunteers are needed between 8:30 AM–1:00 PM, and the minimum volunteer commitment is 2 hours.
As a thank-you, volunteers will receive a discount code toward their student’s school pictures!
If you’re available to lend a hand, please email school secretary, Katie Munroe at kmunroe@dcjesd.us --- we’d love your help making Picture Day a success!

WatchDogs Dads & Donuts - Wednesday, September 30th
We’re inviting all father figures to join us for a special opportunity to connect with your student and learn more about our Watch D.O.G.S. (Dads of Great Students) program!
Come enjoy donuts with your student, meet with our school administration, and learn how you can sign up to spend a day on campus supporting students and staff as a positive male role model.
The Watch D.O.G.S. program is an important part of building a strong, connected school community. Having father figures and other positive male role models on campus helps students feel supported, strengthens relationships between families and the school, and provides students with positive examples of leadership, kindness, responsibility, and involvement. Your presence can make a meaningful difference in a student’s day!
Whether you are a dad, stepdad, grandpa, uncle, or another important father figure in a child’s life, we would love to have you join us!

Family Picnic - Friday, September 18th
Please join us for our Family Picnic on Friday, September 18th! We invite ALL parents and guardians to bring your blankets or chairs and enjoy lunch together. Lunch will be held by grade level during their regular lunch times.
Feel free to bring a special lunch to share together! (We will NOT be accepting food drop off or food deliveries) All Antelope Meadows students are allowed to get their lunch from the cafeteria, however the cafeteria will NOT be serving parent meals.
You are welcome to stay with your child on the playground as they attend their recess, but students must return to class after their recess. If you must take your child off campus - they NEED to be signed out in the front office prior to leaving campus.
Reminders:
Students must return to class after their recess
Students from different grade levels may not eat together
NO food deliveries
Cafeteria will be serving food for students only
We look forward to seeing our families on campus for this fun tradition!

Brought to you by your Antelope Meadows PTA, Treat Friday is a fun opportunity for your Wildcats to grab some treats after school!
We will have a booth set up after TK/K-5th dismissal by the outdoor stage with various treats for purchase.
Everything is $1! Cash only for Treat Friday Purchases
