About Me

Hello!  My name is Raina Schneider and I am so excited to be your child's teacher this year!!  Here is a little bit of information about me so you can get to know me better.

I have been teaching for 15 years.  I got my credential in the Dry Creek District back in 2010, and I subbed K-8th for a couple of years before landing a full time position in 4th grade here at Antelope Meadows.  After one year in 4th, I moved down to TK and did one year, and then went up to 5th grade for 6 years.  Now I'm back in TK! This is my 12th year at Antelope Meadows and it is such a wonderful school with supportive staff and families.  We are all lucky to be a part of it!

I have a wonderful son named Logan who will turn 8 in November.  He loves Legos, stuffed animals, and Hot Wheels. He also loves arts and crafts!  He loves fixing things, and being helpful. He also loves singing and dancing, just like me!

When I am not spending time with my son, I love to read, do crossword puzzles and sudoku, watch TV, listen to music, and shop!  I love reading mystery novels.  They are my absolute favorite!  I love watching mystery on TV as well.  If it involves me solving something... I'm in!    

When it comes to food... I will eat just about anything.  I LOVE food! I love spicy Thai food, Italian food, Mexican food, sushi, etc... YUM!  Pizza.. you bet.  I also go crazy for tacos and sandwiches.  I could eat them everyday.  I love all different kinds and everything on them!  Okay, I'm drooling now...  

I also love coffee with flavored cream (all different kinds, I like to try them all)! Hot or iced depending on the weather. I also love iced tea without sugar.  I know... opposite of the coffee!  And I love all flavors of tea.  Black, green, passion fruit, etc... 

Overall, I love anything that is happy and positive!  I love all the beautiful colors of the rainbow and I love nature.  I love plants, flowers, and sunshine!  Most of all though... I LOVE being a mom AND a teacher!!
