The vowel sounds are some of the most important sounds in the English language. Not only does every word have at least one vowel, but every syllable has a vowel! Your child will learn to read faster when they know their vowels sounds. This video teaches short vowel sounds - which is the expectation for TK. The standard for Kindergarten will include long vowel sounds.

This video shows how seeds grow under the soil. This would be a great science experiment. If you are able to use a clear cup, it would allow you to see an apple seed sprout, an orange seed or a bean. Help your Littles notice which part of the plant grows first.
