IXL also offers lessons for third-grade math through Geometry, covering the topics that students most commonly need help with. Each lesson introduces the topic, provides a high-level review of key concepts, and walks through example problems. Go to the Learning tab and click the Lessons link to view all lessons by grade level. 

We also have video tutorials for most 6-8th grade math skills and Pre-K, Kindergarten, and 6-8th grade ELA skills. Each video walks through concepts and works out examples for the corresponding skill. Watch a video tutorial by entering a skill and clicking the Watch a tutorial link at the top of the question. 

For skills that do not currently have lessons or videos, our “Learn with an Example” feature provides students with brief instructions before working on a new skill. It introduces students to the key concepts and vocabulary that are covered in the skill, along with a step-by-step guide to working through the question. Click the Learn with an Example link at the top of the first question of any math or ELA skill to view a sample question. These step-by-step explanations will also appear after students miss a question so they can get immediate help, even when working independently.
