Recognize that you are experiencing strong emotions and use a signal.
2: NAME YOUR FEELING

3: CALM DOWN
Acknowledge those feelings and use a calming down strategy!
Take deep belly breaths until you feel calm.
Use positive words like "I can do it!", "I am calm" until you feel calm.
Count numbers until you feel calm.
