Ch. 3- Path of the Green Hand

Story Outline

1. Exposition:

• Why does your character choose to join the Green Hand? Describe how their leader offers you a chance to live with the Green Hand for the next month. What convinces your character to accept their offer?

2. Rising Action:

• What challenges does your character face while living with the Green Hand? Your character begins studying nature and becoming one with the environment, but they also struggle with a lack of technology and creature comforts. What are some new skills they are learning?

3. Climax:

• Does your character stay with the Green Hand, or do they feel trapped by the hidden life? At a key moment, your character has to decide whether to embrace the rugged, outdoor life of the Green Hand or leave and return to the Freehold Alliance because they miss their home. What do they decide?

4. Resolution:

• How does joining the Green Hand change your character’s life? Your character reflects on how their life has changed since joining the Green Hand. Do they feel fulfilled by their peaceful life of nature, or do they miss being a part of the technological world? If they returned to the Freehold Alliance, are they happy with their choice?
