Ch. 2- Path of the Iron Covenant

Story Outline

1. Exposition:

• How are the citizens of the Drymarsh reacting to the news that the Steel Veil is approaching? Introduce the threat of the Steel Veil setting up camp near the Crossroads. Create a sense of fear and panic in the general population. 

2. Rising Action:

• How does the Iron Covenant propose to protect the Crossroads, and what challenges do they face in doing so? The Iron Covenant suggests forming a militia, fortifying the borders, and turning the town into an unbreakable fortress. However, this requires resources and training. Describe your character's plan for this. 

3. Climax:

• What happens when the people of the Crossroads must decide whether to trust the Covenant’s plan? Describe the tense moment where the townspeople must face the Steel Veil's army. Also, describe how they were able to defeat them.  

4. Resolution:

• What are the consequences of the decision made by the townspeople, and how does the Crossroads change as a result? Conclude the story by revealing the aftermath of the battle. Who survived? Who didn't? Reveal how your character feels after defeating the Steel Veil.
