Ch. 2- Path of the Green Hand

Story Outline

1. Exposition:

• How are the citizens of the Drymarsh reacting to the news that the Steel Veil is approaching? Introduce the threat of the Steel Veil setting up camp near the Crossroads. Create a sense of fear and panic in the general population.

2. Rising Action:

• What are the challenges the Green Hand faces in setting up the natural defenses, and how do they prepare for the Steel Veil’s attack? Explore the obstacles the Green Hand encounters, such as the need for extensive preparation and the danger of working close to the enemy's territory. 

3. Climax:

• What happens when the Steel Veil arrives, and how do the Green Hand’s traps and tactics impact the invaders? Build tension as the Steel Veil approaches the Crossroads. Describe the moment when the Green Hand’s traps and tactics are put to the test. 

4. Resolution:

• How does the Crossroads fare after the Green Hand’s defense tactics, and what lessons do the group learn from their efforts? The Drymarsh has been saved using biowarfare, stealth, and bushcraft.  Describe how the citizens react to defeating the Steel Veil.
