In Dry Creek, the unique needs of EL students are met in a variety of ways
Teachers are GLAD trained through Project GLAD®. It is a model of professional development dedicated to building academic language and literacy for all students, especially second language learners.
Students are provided targeted instruction through both whole group and small group lessons in their classroom.
If needed, students are pulled out of class for small group or 1:1 instruction focused on developing their English language.
