Pathway to Bi-literacy

What is bi-literacy?

The ability to read, write, AND speak in two or more languages.

The pathway to bi-literacy was created to place students on a trajectory that will help them earn the California State Seal of Bi-literacy upon graduating from high school. In Dry Creek, students have three opportunities to earn awards demonstrating their proficiency as a bi-literate student. In Dry Creek, students can earn these awards in both 3rd, 5th, and 8th grade.
