We have received news this week that we have successfully complete the first section/criteria of the award, which is skilled teacher. Our designated contacts for this, as mentioned in initial post are Mrs Bush and Mrs Makamure.

In 2021 we were proud to receive the Rainbow Flag Award. This is a national quality assurance framework for all schools and colleges, focusing on LGBT+, (lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans, plus other related identities), inclusion, celebration and visibility. The Rainbow Flag Award encourages a whole organisation approach to LGBT+ inclusion, as well as developing strategies to combat LGBT+ phobic bullying.
Now, in 2023, we are up for reappraisal - which means we have another chance to show off some of the exciting work we do at DCHS.
As shown in the boxes below, there are six sections that DCHS need complete to complete the programme and retain the award.
