Click “Log in with Google” and select your DCG account to log in.
If it is your first time logging in to Schoolinks you will need to complete a quick activity and make a couple of selections to start. The activity and selections only need to be completed the first time you log in.
Select “Engage” on the left column
Select “Experience Tracking”
Select “Silver Cord”
Click the blue “add entry” box on the right to add a service log.
You have to add the following information
Organization name
You will need to click the blue “Add [organization]” button below to add it.
Supervisor Email
You will need to click the blue “Add [Sponsor email]” button below to add it.
Date
If you volunteered over multiple days at the same event select “range of dates” and enter a start and end date.
Time Spent
What did you do during this experience?
Click “Save”
The supervisor will now receive an email and will either approve the hours or reject it if there is any incorrect information given. Make sure to keep track of your logs and follow up with your sponsors if logs are not being approved.
