Tennessee Science Teacher Association (2024-Present)-The largest representation of science educators in Tennessee that continuously promotes the development and advancement of science.

-2026 Professional Development
Led professional development sessions for University School of Jackson faculty focused on understanding and responsibly integrating artificial intelligence into classroom practice. These sessions explored AI fundamentals, ethical considerations aligned with school policy, effective prompting strategies, and practical demonstrations of tools that support planning, differentiation, and assessment. Faculty were encouraged to rethink instructional design in an AI-rich environment and to develop thoughtful, policy-aligned approaches that prioritize student learning and professional judgment.
-2025 TSTA Tennessee Science Conference
Presented a session at the Tennessee Science Teachers Association conference focused on practical and ethical applications of artificial intelligence in the classroom. The session explored how AI can support instructional planning, differentiation, and assessment while maintaining academic integrity and professional judgment. Attendees left with concrete strategies for integrating AI responsibly and rethinking teaching practices in a rapidly evolving educational landscape.
-2024 TSTA Tennessee Science Conference
Collaborated with other educators from Tennessee regarding understanding new science standards and general teaching knowledge. Together, we discussed upcoming changes and how to better prepare for using them in our classrooms. This conference allowed me to experience the following resources with motivated teachers assisting me in using them:

Conducted a presentation discussing the use of AI in the classroom in both beneficial and harmful aspects.

Conducted smart board training for other educators on how to use it to their benefit in the classroom.
