This is my third year teaching, and I couldn't be more excited to return to Dassel-Cokato School District! I grew up in Rockford, Minnesota and graduated high school from Rockford Area Schools. I graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire with my Bachelors in Choral Music Education and Theatre Arts Education.
Music has always been a huge part of my life. I was able to be in my first musical in 2nd grade, when I was part of the children's chorus for Rockford's Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. I was in choir from elementary all throughout college. I was also in band, playing clarinet, from 6th grade until I graduated from high school. I was also the keyboard player for Jazz Band for my Junior and Senior years of high school. I was in musicals at school during my middle and high school years, and I have been a part of various community theatre productions since 2014 in Summer musicals. As you can tell, I am a huge music and theatre nerd.
When I am not doing all things music and theatre, I enjoy spending time with my friends and family, doing yoga, and reading books. Nothing beats being curled up in a blanket and reading a book while it rains outside, bonus points if you have a warm drink like tea with it.
