Different types fish

The term fish describes a life form. There are a lot of types of fish such as clownfish (like Nemo), mud fish, sharks and starfish. Some fish are really colourful and some are not. The fish's environment is being destroyed because of the humans destroying their environment and habitats.

Jellyfish and comb jellies are animals that drift through the ocean's water around the world. They are both beautiful. Jellyfish and comb jellies are not very close relatives and have very different life histories. Jellyfish are really slimy and looks soft but if you actually get stinged it actually really hurts!

Both groups are very old animals. They have live in the seas for at least 500 million years. One kind of jellyfish is the only animal which can live forever which is the medusa.

When the water in the sea gets warmer, some animals that eat jellies disappear because people catch them. Also, more things like buildings are put in the water and lots of food goes into the ocean. Because of all this, some types of jellyfish and comb jellies can grow and stay alive more easily.

But there is a problem: when there are too many jellies, it can cause trouble! It messes up the fishing and makes swimming not fun because you might bump into them. Sometimes, jellies that don't belong in certain places go there and cause even more problems.

So, we need to take care of the ocean and make sure things stay balanced, so we don't have too many jellies causing all sorts of trouble!

Dolphins

Dolphins are highly intelligent marine mammals known for their playful behavior and social nature. They belong to the family Delphinidae and are found in oceans and seas around the world. With their sleek bodies and fins, dolphins are well-adapted to life in the water. They are known for their remarkable communication skills, using a variety of clicks, whistles and body language to interact with each other.

Dolphins live in groups called pods, which can vary in size from a few individuals to hundreds of dolphins. Dolphins are also known for their playful nature, often seen riding waves, leaping out of the water and playing with objects such as seaweed or even bubbles. This playful behaviour is not just for fun - it also helps young dolphins develop important skills they will need later in life, such as hunting and social interactions. Dolphins are highly curious animals and have been observed interacting with other species, including humans, in a friendly manner.

In addition to their social and playful behaviours, dolphins are very good hunters. Their diet includes fish, squid and crustaceans. They use a combination of sonar and teamwork to catch their prey. Dolphins are known to work together to herd schools of fish, making it easier for them to feed. Their hunting techniques show how intelligent they are and how they can adapt in the marine environment.
