Causes of Climate Change
There are many causes of climate change. The main three are: greenhouse gases, deforestation and agriculture.
All these sources let out bad gases damaging our Earth.
Climate change is caused mainly by greenhouse gases. Greenhouse gases are caused from burning fossil fuels. Fossil fuels come from working factories. The smoke goes into the air and makes greenhouse traps in our troposphere. This allows more heat into our Earth, overheating it and causing climate change. Greenhouse gases aren’t the only thing causing climate change.
Another reason why we have climate change is because of deforestation. Trees absorb carbon dioxide (CO2) and when we cut them down, we are releasing all the CO2 into the planet. CO2 can also cause climate change.
Agriculture is also causing climate change. When people farm crops, they release greenhouse gases into the air causing climate change. People also use fertilisers when farming. Those fertilisers release a chemical called nitrous oxide. This gas can cause climate change.
