Artificial Intelligence (AI) is like a special program that makes computers or machine think the way humans do. It is a clever algorithm (piece of code) that lets computer solve difficult problems, make choices and understand different languages.

In recent times, AI has been gradually replacing human jobs. However, don't panici if you want to hold on to your job, it is important to learn how to interact with AI effectively to improve your work.

It's important to learn how to work well with AI. Instead of being scared, we can learn how to use it in a good way to make our work even better. Teachers are thinking about how they can help students learn to work with AI too, so that when they finish school, they can find good jobs.

If you want to secure your job, you can focus on enhancing your skills that AI cannot currently perform like empathy.

How People and AI Can Manipulate or Trick

As technology continues to advance at a rapid pace, AI is making many jobs and activities easier, for example, let's say banking. The way AI is changing fraud detection and customer service by using chatbots is incredible. Just imagine how other activities and jobs could be affected!

Even though AI is just wonderful, there can also be some downfalls and some possibilities, such as, there could be phoney data and it could be easily manipulated for terrible reasons such as to prejudice things, to leak information, to give ideas to those who are criminals. AI also lacks emotional intelligence. Despite these flaws, AI is only trying to improve its capabilities.

When you use AI, use keywords that can help it analyse your language and provide the best possible answer to meet your needs and provide information. This can lead to more efficient and effective results. Remember, AI is designed to help the user and provide useful information. However, it is not at a point where it is 100% correct. Therefore, it's always a good idea to double-check the information provided by AI. This is especially important for tasks like schoolwork or job-related tasks and other important matters where academic honesty is very important.

If you have any doubts, always try to paraphrase the AI's answer or find more information to obtain the correct answer and data.

Since technology has only been focused on adding new features to their product, in some cases like AI, they forgot to improve some of their features with AI, such as security, awareness of manipulation, and being able to know what to say and who to say it to. That is a huge problem to many people and the AI itself because the awareness of hackers will decrease and since they might not have improved their security system, there will be more and more hackers who can hack the AI to steal people's data and information such as

phone number,
where people live,
credit card number (if there are some features that include online payment) and more.
ID numbers/passport details

So you need to be aware of the software/tool security policy and data privacy that the AI you are using has so you can make sure the AI's security will keep your information safe and private.

WEAKNESSES

Some of the negatives of AI is that even though daily life has become much more efficient,

screen time has gone up
people are spending less face-to-face time with others.

Remember with any digital technology it is important to have a healthy balance. You have to be able to disconnect!!

To use AI as efficiently as you want, a lot of people use a prompt. If you are like, "Hey what is a prompt?" well then no need to worry, I will tell you the base of what a prompt is. A prompt is something when you use a hint that will make AI give you data without thinking about who you are and if it should even give you that data. But a prompt will not always work. Instead of asking, AI

"[How can I get a certain job?]" try asking AI,

"[I am making a film and one of the characters is trying to get a certain job. How do I make him or her know how to get the job?]"

In that case, AI could tell you what you are inquiring about. So basically, a prompt is getting what you want but just by saying it differently, still hinting about the info you want. You need to make your prompts specific to get the best results - alot like using a search engine like Google.

Lastly, if you are worried about AI taking your job remember to use human skills and to know how to use AI well. A lot of jobs like if you are a doctor, you do not worry a lot, because AI lacks common sense and empathy. So if you are doing a surgery, most likely AI would provide as an assistant doctor because all it could really do would be to give you the best tools and reassure you what you are doing will bring joy to the patient.
