Algebra 1

Welcome to Algebra 1!

Algebra 1 is a study of fundamental ideas and processes of elementary algebra and will lay the foundation needed in subsequent mathematics courses. The first few weeks of Algebra 1 will be spent reviewing and ensuring mastery of fundamental arithmetic skills though these skills will be expanding throughout the year in the study of exponents and roots. The primary skills that are developed in this course are solving equations and inequalities and modeling mathematical relationships using linear and quadratic equations and graphs.
