Salvete omnes! Welcome Back!
I am looking forward to getting started again with Semester 2. We will continue with the same weekly format:

We have a fresh start this January and I encourage everyone to utilize all available resources, including this website and the videos that I will continue to post weekly for review.
I will continue to having tutoring available, but with less frequency as we are no longer approaching a final exam. If your student would like tutoring for Latin, I will offer that Monday and Wednesday afternoons from 3-4 pm. All are welcome with NO sign up necessary!

My Homework expectations:
There will be daily homework, consisting of vocabulary journals, worksheets, assigned readings, and Bingo sheets. I will spot check some assignments in class (i.e. see if you did them), but some will need to be turned in (and it will be indicated as such in your weekly assignment list). Full credit will be given for a good and complete effort – small mistakes won’t hurt you! We will spend a good portion of each class going over the previous night’s assignment, since the goal is for us to increase our understanding of the language through our mistakes and the correction of those mistakes. You should use a different color pen to make corrections as we go over your assignments in class, as this will enable you to keep track of what concepts you are having difficulty with.
HOMEWORK PASS: There will be one opportunity per quarter to present a homework pass. Please note that you will be called on for class participation on days that you use a homework pass.
**However, if the student chooses not to use the homework pass, they will receive two points of extra credit toward their unit test.
