External VET (EVET)

If you’re interested in a VET course that is not run at your school, it may be possible to study an EVET course at TAFE NSW or through a private Registered Training Organisation (RTO) .

The external provision of VET (EVET) is an important option for Catholic Schools Broken Bay's students and provides opportunities for students to:

undertake vocational framework courses which are not taught within the school
undertake non-framework vocational courses which may assist in their transition from school to work
access and explore courses that match their career aspirations
develop pathways to employment and further education and training.

All students applying for EVET courses must first understand the EVET course enrolment requirements, responsibilities and costs before completing the application paperwork.
