Overseas Research Experience under Indo-Swiss Project


Visited as a Research Scholar for six months in the Laboratory of Dr. Hans Peter Kohler & Dr. Thomas Poiger (February–July, 2010) at Eawag (UMIK, Swiss Federal Institute of Aquatic Science and Technology), Department of Environmental Microbiology, CH-8600, Dubendorf, Switzerland & Research station Agroscope Changins-Wadenswil, Plant Protection Chemistry. The project entitled “Environmental Risk and Bioremediation of Hexachlorocyclohexane Isomers” under the Indo Swiss Collaboration in Biotechnology (ISCB).

Took the training in different disciplines:

  2. Enzymology

  3. Purification through Advanced HPLC method

  4. NMR

  5. Toxicology
