I am working as Assistant Professor in the Department of Zoology, Deshbandhu College, University of Delhi. I have Joined the College in July, 2012 . Earlier I taught in Miranda House, Shivaji College and Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Khalsa College,  University of Delhi. I  completed my Ph.D. from the Department of Zoology, University of Delhi in 2011. The title of my dissertation is "Purification of epsilon-HCH (Hexachlocyclohexane); Role of LinA (HCH dehydrochlorinase) and LinB (HCH haloalkane dehalogenase) in its Degradation and Screening Natural Variants of LinA for Better HCH Degrading Potential ". My areas of interests are Cloning, Taxonomy and Protein purification from Inclusion body. I have Ten research publications in the reputed National and International journals. I have participated in several National and International seminars, conferences and workshops. I have presented my research papers in the International conferences. I have attended the workshop, Faculty Development Program and Faculty Induction/Orientation Program. I have one minor research project under DBT Star College Scheme. I have developed e-content chapter for Undergraduate and Post-graduadate Courses under the MHRD Project. I actively involve in the college administrative activities: Co-Convenor of Life Sciences (P) Society, Convenor to organize talk under Colloquium Activity in the Department of Zoology.
