• Department of Sanskrit is organizing annual lecture series "सरस्वती-व्याख्यानमाला" (Saraswati-Vyakhyanmala) on the occasion of Basant-Panchami every year.

• The department organizes quiz, debates, shloka-recitation, antakshari and shloka-singing competitions every year in collaboration with Delhi Sanskrit Academy.

• The departmental society संस्कृत-परिषद् (Sanskrit-Parishad) organizes the annual fest "श्रेयस्" (Shreyas).

• The department celebrates संस्कृत-सप्ताह by organizing several competitions for students.
