The Chemical Society of the Department of Chemistry, Deshbandhu College organized its chemical festival RESONANCE 2024 on 21 and 22 February 2024. It was a showcase of intellectual discourse and competitive spirit.

The fest commenced with a one-day National Seminar with an inaugural ceremony graced by eminent personalities from the field of chemistry. Prof. Rakesh Kumar Parashar, Department of Chemistry, University of Delhi was the Chief Guest of the event and delivered a talk on Chemistry, a Promising Career. It was followed by another talk by the Guest of Honor - Prof. Anil Kumar, Head of the Department of Applied Chemistry, Delhi Technology University on the topic Porphyrinoid - Recent Developments.

Following the lectures, participants engaged in a variety of competitive events like CHEMSHOTS - the photography competition, where the competitors competed creatively explaining the Chromatographic Art through their lenses. In the proceeding events, there was a Treasure Hunt competition that was enthusiastically played by various teams.

The second day of the fest delved deeper into innovation with the CHEM-AD competition where the teams harnessed their knowledge of chemistry to create captivating advertisements. The last event was the Talent Hunt in which the individuals showcased their talents. Lastly, as the day ended, the valedictory ceremony was held with a profound sense of gratitude.
