National FFA Scholarships
Due Date: January 15th, 2026
Whether you are pursuing a trade school, vocational certificate or a two-year or four-year degree, don’t miss your chance to apply for a National FFA Scholarship to help with your next steps in education. If you are a senior FFA member in high school or FFA Alumni in college, just one application is required for multiple scholarship opportunities totaling nearly $2.5 million.
The 2025-26 scholarship application will open on Saturday, Nov. 1.

Texas Farm Bureau Scholarship
Due Date: March 2nd, 2026
Annually, we award over $532,000 in scholarships in a variety of packages designed to meet different student needs.

Texas FFA Scholarships
Due Date: April 12th, 2026 @ 12:00 PM
Through a competitive selection process, academic scholarships are awarded annually at the Texas FFA Convention to deserving members. Thanks to the generosity of numerous scholarship donors, the Texas FFA will award more than 140 scholarships to outstanding graduating seniors. These scholarships are awarded based on academic and FFA achievements as well as the member's performance in an interview process.
The Texas FFA Foundation has an scholarship endowment to ensure students can receive these scholarships in perpetuity. We are proud to provide deserving members with approximately $2.4 million a year in academic and award scholarships.
The 2025-2026 scholarship application will open on Thursday, Jan. 1.

Dayton Young Farmers Scholarship
Due Date: March 1st, 2025
This scholarship is intended to assist and reward students who are in need of financial aid and have shown academic potential, leadership, and extracurricular involvement.
Selected applicants will be asked to give a three (3) minute oral statement and participate in a question/answer session with the Dayton Young Farmers as to why he/she should be considered.
All applicants must have completed a minimum of two years or four semesters of courses, and must have been an active FFA member for a minimum of two full years.
AgTrust Farm Credit Scholarships
Due Date: March 15th, 2025
AgTrust Farm Credit will award ten graduating seniors from Texas and New Mexico a $2,500 scholarship. Each recipient’s home 4-H club or FFA chapter will receive $500.
AgTrust Farm Credit has a history of helping students involved in agriculture. One way is by supporting their education through our scholarship program. This program has shed light on the strength and knowledge young people bring to the future of agriculture.

Capital Farm Credit Scholarships
Due Date: April 1st, 2025
Capital Farm Credit awards $1,000 scholarships to graduating high school seniors across Capital Farm Credit market territories. Youth scholarships are awarded using the following eligibility requirements:
1. Funds shall be used to attend an accredited vocational or technical school, college or university. Student must maintain full time status.
2. Applicants must be high school seniors, graduating within the current school year.
3. Applicant must demonstrate that they have a tentative educational plan and goals, related to fields in agriculture or natural resources (may include Ag Communications, Ag Economics/Business, Ag Education, Wildlife or Ranch Management, etc.).
4. Applicants must include digital copies of the following documents along with their completed online application for consideration:
a. Copy of recent high school transcript
b. 2 letters of recommendation

Dalton W. Horn Memorial Scholarship
Due Date: April 4th, 2025
The Dalton W. Horn Memorial Scholarship will provide up to eight (8) $5,000 scholarships to graduating high
school seniors and upperclassmen.
Rules & Eligibility
Applicant must be a graduate of a high school from within Chambers, Hardin, Jefferson, Liberty, or Orange
Counties to be eligible. Applicant may attend any college of their choosing and enroll in any degree program. Applicant must meet the regular admission requirements of an accredited college or junior college of their choice. Furthur consideration will be given to FFA or 4-H members planning to major in an agriculture related field.
Southeast Texas Independent Cattleman's Association Scholarship
Due Date: April 4th, 2025
The Southeast Texas Independent Cattlemen’s Association (SETICA) will provide four (4) $1,500.00 scholarship awards to four outstanding students graduating this spring semester from any high school in Chambers, Galveston, Hardin, Jefferson, Liberty or Orange Counties, as follows:
The selection criteria are as follows:
A. Priority will be given to students whose parents, grandparents or guardians are current SETICA members
for two consecutive years prior to the date of this application deadline. These applicants may attend any college of their choosing and enroll in any degree program. Applicant must meet the regular admission requirements of an accredited college of their choice (junior colleges included).
B. Further consideration will be given to ANY Texas FFA or 4-H Member planning to major in an agriculture-
related field.
LF Chachere Memorial Scholarship
Due Date: April 7th, 2025
L. J. Chachere was a long-time resident of the Dayton community. He was an astute businessman who loved his church and his family. As a former Ag teacher, he had a special place in his heart for youth involved in agricultural projects and endeavors. This scholarship, established in his memory, has been set up to provide college opportunities for area FFA and 4-H students to pursue their academic dreams.
APPLICANT ELIGIBILITY To be eligible to apply for this scholarship, the applicant must meet the following criteria: 1. Be an active member of FFA or 4-H. 2. Be in good academic standing and be eligible for graduation.
APPLICANT REQUIREMENTS The following items must be included: 1. Completed application - Please answer the questions about FFA/4-H activities and honors thoroughly. LDE, CDE and livestock show participation carry additional weight on the rubric! Feel free to write on the back or include additional pages if necessary. 2. A narrative essay that includes future educational and occupational goals 3. A wallet-sized photo 4. Two letters of recommendation 5. An official high school transcript

Dayton FFA Scholarship
Due Date: April 28th, 2025
Each year the Dayton FFA awards four scholarships for members who intend to study in the field of agriculture at a two or four year program. The scholarships are given out under the names of trailbrazers for our program; The Brandi Brooks Scholarship, The Larry Swearingen Scholarship, The Anson Rigby Memorial Scholarship, and The Marshall Rolke Scholarship.
