Take a Look at the GREAT Things Our Members Are Doing
This year at the 2026 Texas FFA State Convention, four of our members earned their Lonestar Degree. The Lonestar Degree, the highest degree earned by a member in the Texas FFA, is awarded to third year membes who participate in various FFA activities and keep record of thier SAEs. We are so proud of these memebrs and their dedication to the Dayton FFA!
We are so proud of 2025-2026 Dayton FFA President, Bradley White, on his accomplishment of 5th place at the Texas FFA Extemporaneous Speaking contest!
The Dayton FFA Chapter Attended the Ricebelt District Convention where Jaylyn Carbajal retired from her position as District Treasurer, and Beatriz Moreno was elected into the District as PRESIDENT! These two young ladies represented the best of the Dayton FFA Chapter and we are so proud of them.
Dayton FFA Takes on the 2026 Spring Majors.
The Dayton FFA Chapter had members participate at the FWSSR, SALE, and HLSR representing all species from swine to cattle to small animals. The hard work and time they dedicate to their SAE projects is one of the best parts of the chapter. Congratulations to all of their success!
Our largest community service event, involving students from DHS FFA, SFA, KMB, and Richter, went off without a hitch as our members lead 10 stations covering various topics in agriculture. All DISD 3rd graders had the opportunity to touch livestock animals, make their own homemade butter, and see how the milk we drink gets to our fridge at home. We would like to thank the elementary Principals and Teachers for allowing us to take your students out of the classroom for the day.
Today we had a Dayton FFA record 14 teams compete at the Area 9 LDE’s. We are so proud of every one of these students and the dedication they have put towards their teams over the past several months. We are thrilled to announce that we won 2nd Place Sweepstakes and have 3 teams that are advancing to state!! The following teams advancing to state are:
Senior Spanish Creed Speaking - Beatriz Moreno
Greenhand Creed Speaking - Naveah Chavez
Senior Skill Demonstration - Adrianna Ibarra, Fatima Lopez, Izbetth Garcia, and McKenna Rankin
