Q: What ages will be accepted at Dayspring Angeline's Little Scholars?
A: Dayspring’s Little Scholars Preschool accepts bathroom-independent learners three-years-olds through five-years-old.
Q: What curriculum is utilized at Dayspring Angeline's Little Scholars?
A: Our curriculum includes but is not limited to, Core Knowledge as well as Saxon Math. All sources promote literacy, mathematics, science, social studies, the arts and technology, and the importance of the family’s role in the preschool experience.
Q: What will the teacher/child ratios at Dayspring Angeline's Little Scholars?
A: 3-year-olds: 1:15, 4-5-year-olds: 1:20, VPK: 1:11 or 2:20
Little Scholars meets or exceeds teacher-to-child ratios.
Q: Is there a dress code at Dayspring Angeline's Little Scholars?
A: Children should dress in comfortable, washable clothing that is suitable for the weather. Please provide clothing that is free of complicated fasteners. Girls must always wear shorts under their dresses.
**Shoes must be rubber-soled with closed toes. Sandals and backless shoes are not permitted. Socks are required. High heel shoes are not permitted.
Please bring 2 extra changes of clothes and 1 pair of extra shoes to keep in their cubby. This is to include underwear, socks, shoes, shirts, and bottoms that are clearly labeled and in a marked bag. We also suggest you keep a light jacket or sweater labeled with your child’s name, in their cubby.
Q: How do I enroll my child in Dayspring Angeline's Little Scholars?
A: Pending licensure, placement into our preschool programs is determined through an online lottery. The lottery is open from February 1st to March 7th. Notification of acceptance occurs via email by April. To apply outside the lottery window, please complete the digital waitlist application.
Q: What is the tuition for Dayspring Angeline's Little Scholars?
A: Little Scholars Preschool provides 4-year-old learners a 540-hour voluntary prekindergarten program (VPK) at no cost to parents. Families that require additional care outside the VPK program can pay $200 per week for their four-year-old to be at school from 7 AM – 6:00 PM.
Full-time care of three-year-old learners is $225 per week. Families selected from the lottery or waitlist must pay a $100 registration fee to enroll their learners.
