KeyChain

In this project we were tasked with making a Keychain. We had to use Adobe Illustrator to design our keychain. Then we printed it out using the laser cutter. the next keychain we had to engrave something on to it. So we went back into Adobe Illustrator to add what we wanted engraved into it. Then we cut it out using the laser cutter. Then we used this printer that printed out stickers we wanted on top of our keychains.

Reflection

• What went well during this project was using the laser cutter and figuring out how to get the laser cutter to cut out my keychain. Once I figured out how to use Adobe Illustrator it got a lot easier the second time to add what I wanted engraved in my keychain. It was also, a lot of fun doing this project.

• A challenge I faced was figuring out how to trace my image on Adobe Illustrator. It was really hard because I haven't really ever used it before for a project like this so that was definitely a challenge to over come on this project. Once I got the hang of then it was much easier to use. It was really hard to the sticker on in the right spot I wanted it to be.

• I don't think I would do anything differently if I did this project again. The reason why is because, I really liked how it turned out in the end so I wouldn't change any of that. If i had to change on thing it would have to be downloading a different image. I love the image I used for this project but I wonder if it would have turned out differently if I used a different image.
