With only three classes left in the year, I didn't have enough time to start something new. So I set out to fix the major flaw with my final design. The warping of the wood. It's a good thing I did because it was just getting progressively worse and worse.
As you can see, it was severely warped and only getting worse. I did some research on how to unwarp wood, but all of it required a lot of time that I did not have. I decided to try and replace the feet with two metal rods that would hopefully keep the board from warping.
I took square metal rods, and after cleaning them up I used the drill press to make two different-sized holes. A bigger hole that would fit both the screw and the screwdriver through it. The second hole is smaller for just the screw to go into the board. I then cleaned it up again and spray-painted it black. I clamped it flat and screwed the pipes in this isn't a perfect fix but with the time I have it worked really well.
