The first step in this process, was the create the rectangle and put the star and number in adobe illustrator . The star took a lot of figuring out untill I realized there was a star builder tool, I then cut a hole out of the star. Here is the adobe illustrator design:
After this, I didn't get very many pictures of during the process. I cut out the design above on the laser cutter, Than I flipped it and turned the lines magenta. I then added a clipping mask with a cool color to make a sticker, After this I put the sticker on. The first 5 times I tried to print the sticker it didn't work but eventually we figured it out. Here is the design of the sticker that I created using the clipping mask:
We learned how to focus the laser cutter and also send jobs to both the laser cutter and the sticker printer. We used the hard drive and email to send to the sticker cutter, and the lab laptops to send to the laser cutter.
I did not get very many pictures or detail this time but I will work to improve this for the next project.
