cnc maze

During this project, we were tasked to use adobe illustrator and fusion 360 to make a marble maze on the cnc machine

Here is my design in adobe illustrator, I choose to base my maze off of a surfboard. I started by tracing the image and then using offsets to create the lines and walls for the maze. Unfortunately I did not take as many pictures as I would have liked during this project, but after designing in adobe illustrator I moved the dxf file into fusion 360 and created the extrusions and tool paths to send to the cnc machine. After It was all cut out, we used two different tools to clean up the edges.

I used adobe again to design the acrylic. I then used the lazer cutter to cut it out, first in cardboard to make sure it worked, and then twice in acrylic because I ran into some sizing issues on the first one. Overall this was a super fun project and I learned a lot about the cnc machine and also about cuting acrylic on the lazer cutter. I did not take enough pictures this time.
