Welcome to Davison Early College.

In August 2015, a NEW opportunity and partnership were born creating Davison Early College with a partnership with Mott Community College.    The Davison Early College  (DEC) program is a three-year high school program designed to allow Davison High School students to explore and earn their high school diploma while simultaneously earning college credits towards a Michigan Early College Association (MEMCA) certification, an associate degree, credentials, or transferable credits in a career pathway while in high school.

Students will apply during their sophomore year.  Students accepted into the program will begin blending coursework with college-level coursework in 11th grade, adding additional courses in 12th grade, and completing a full schedule of college courses in their 13th  year.  Students must commit to the 13th year of school.

Students in the DEC will receive support services to assist them in their transition from high school to college.  Students will work closely with the Early College Coordinator as they progress through the program.  In addition, students will have access to Davison High School support systems, a Mott Community College Success Coach and other Mott Community College resources.
