The answer is YES. While many students may have and prefer to use personal email accounts, they need to always use their district account when communicating with staff. That is the only way we can be sure of the student's identity. since bigsportsfan@gmail.com doesn't tell us anything about the identity of the sender. Using the district accounts also protects us by archiving all communication in Google Vault.
Zoom is offered free and it is a nice tool, but I would prefer we use tools in the Google environment like Google Meet so that students on Chromebooks see everything in one easy place. Also, it will keep our employees trained in tools we'll still own once this NTI season is over.

If you uploaded it from Screencastify to YouTube, you'll need to go to your studio.youtube.com/videos page and change the video to Public. If you uploaded from Screencastify to Google Drive, you need to make it public there by opening the recording and clicking the Share button where you can set it to available to anyone with the link.
Please email nti.questions@daviess.kyschools.us with the name full name of the course, the class period if there are multiples, and the name of the students in question. Add the context of if they are there and shouldn't be or should be and are not.
