Teachers will need to prepare alternative paper handouts to be sent home. A list of all students without internet access was shared with principals on Thursday, March 12, 2020.
You can also refer to your school's FRYSC coordinator for access to free Spectrum.

Are our staff and students required to use their district accounts when communicating?
The answer is YES. While many students may have and prefer to use personal email accounts, they need to always use their district account when communicating with staff. That is the only way we can be sure of the student's identity. since bigsportsfan@gmail.com doesn't tell us anything about the identity of the sender. Using the district accounts also protects us by archiving all communication in Google Vault.

Zoom is offered free and it is a nice tool, but I would prefer we use tools in the Google environment like Google Meet so that students on Chromebooks see everything in one easy place. Also, it will keep our employees trained in tools we'll still own once this NTI season is over.

I used Screencastify, and linked it on my Google Classroom, but I'm getting emails from kids (which is a good thing that they are checking) that says I need to give them access to it.
I used Screencastify, and linked it on my Google Classroom, but I'm getting emails from kids (which is a good thing that they are checking) that says I need to give them access to it.
If you uploaded it from Screencastify to YouTube, you'll need to go to your studio.youtube.com/videos page and change the video to Public. If you uploaded from Screencastify to Google Drive, you need to make it public there by opening the recording and clicking the Share button where you can set it to available to anyone with the link.
