The counseling program at SES continues to evolve over the years. Students at Sorgho have access to a full-time school counselor and services provided can be a wide variety including, but not limited to:

• Individual Counseling

• Group Counseling

• Friendship Groups

• Lunch Bunches

• Classroom Social/Emotional Learning (SEL) Lessons

• Restorative Circles

• Drop-in Counseling

There are also many leaderships opportunities available to students, as well. Through Leader in Me students will learn to take charge of their emotions and self.

Students will have regular contact with school counselor throughout the year, including check-ins, during recess breaks, and around campus.
