Visitors During Lunch

We are a Family Friendly School. Our highest priority is ensuring a safe and secure environment for students. We appreciate the cooperation of all visitors as we work together toward that goal. You will be required to fill out this form 24 hours in advance of eating with us here at Meadow Lands. RSVP Form For Lunch

To visit during school lunch, you must be on the student’s check-out list in our student information system (Infinite Campus). If you are not on this list, we will be unable to approve your visit for lunch. Additionally, we ask that all visitors RSVP 24 hours in advance to help us prepare for your visit.

No debit card. Cash or Check Only (Adult meal $4.75)

***Please refrain from taking photos during your lunch time and from bringing in fast food. Thank you!***

If you take a picture of your child and it has another student in the background, do not post this to social media
Refrain from interactions with other students
Once lunch has concluded, please say your goodbyes in the lunchroom so your student may proceed with their day

STOPFINDER BUS APP

Daviess County Public Schools Transportation Department will be using a new parent app, Stopfinder, for student bus schedules and transportation communication. Stopfinder is the easy-to-use, all-in-one app that allows you to have the most accurate information about your student’s bus schedule at anytime from anywhere.

The primary email address that is currently on file with the district will be used for Stopfinder setup.

Parents can update their email in Infinite Campus in their parent portal on their own or they can contact their school’s front office to make changes to primary email addresses. To access your Parent Portal in IC from the Menu click “More” then Family Information. Be sure to click update to ensure changes are saved.

Stopfinder can be downloaded for free from the App Store or Google Play. Stopfinder will require an invite and registration through the district prior to accessing your student’s transportation schedule. Please contact the DCPS Transportation Department with any questions at 270-852-7080.

ATTENDANCE-Students that miss just two days of school a month can fall significantly behind and continue through middle and high school.

ANYTIME your child will not be at school, please call the office at 270-852-7450. DPCS policy allows families to have up to 8 sick call in days per year. If a child has not been called in sick or does not have a doctor's note upon return or faxed to the school within 3 days, the absence in counted as unexcused. After 3 unexcused absences a child is considered truant. After 6 unexcused absences, a child is considered habitually truant and the parent or guardian can be charged with educational neglect.

Broken Chromebook?

Daviess County Public Schools takes pride in knowing that in the challenging school year of 2021-2022 we provided unprecedented learning resources for our students and families. One of those resources was a Chromebook computer for use at home during virtual and hybrid learning.

We continue to use the Chromebook computer and charger daily. It is important for your child to return these items to school daily. The district’s cost for repairs or lost items are listed below.

___________ Other repairs (cameras, hinges, case) - $25

___________ Complete replacement for 1 to 2 year old Chromebook - $200

___________ Complete replacement for donated Chromebook - $38 (which is the new cost of

a Google License)
