This week we will identify ways to balance renewal of our heart, mind, body, and spirit. Keep track of how your family is sharpening the saw this week!

Fact and Opinion (April 13-17)

This week we will learn to describe the differences between facts and opinions. Invite your learner to identify facts about themselves and family members.

Discovering our Strengths and Passions (April 20-24)

Our class will talk about optimizing strengths. We will also learn  to identify our talents and determine how we can use them to lead themselves and others. Brainstorm ways your learner can contribute their talents to the local community.

Finding My Voice (April 27-May 1)

This week, we will learn about the power of our voices and how they can make a difference when we work together. Learners will explore what it means to describe their own voice and how they can use it to contribute to a class service-learning goal. Have a discussion with your learner about how they describe their voice and what kind of goal they would like to help create for your family or community.
