About Me

Greetings

I am thrilled to be the new knowledge and information coordinator for Pinebrook Elementary! This is my seventh year serving as a Teacher Librarian and my 21 year in the Davie County School System. I have masters degrees in both Library Science and Instructional Technology from the Leadership and Educational Studies department at Appalachian State University where I occasionally serve as an adjunct professor. I spent the last few years at the district offices serving as a curriculum and professional development coordinator and was an instructional technology facilitator before then. Elementary school is where I began my professional journey and I am tickled to be back surrounded by great students and books! My background is Literature with a concentration in children's books. No media center is complete without volunteers and I always need help shelving the collection! Please stop by anytime.
