MILE Student Advisors function as consultants to help Davidson staff and faculty members gain information and make decisions informed by student experiences, observations, and feedback.  MILE students host conversations that encourage confidential and welcoming opportunities to share perspectives that highlight student experiences and offer recommendations.

MILE Student-Faculty Partnerships
FIRST Action Team students suggested MILE partnerships, which were piloted in Fall 2019, Spring 2020, and Spring 2022 as semester-long, student-faculty partnerships modeled after Bryn Mawr’s Students as Learners and Teachers (SaLT).  Seven MILE students partnered with seven faculty members in BIO, CHE, PHY, and ENV courses to offer crucial regular feedback to develop more inclusive and equitable learning environments.
