D + S COLLABORATIVE is located about 45 minutes southeast of White Sands National Monument in Doña Ana County, Las Cruces, New Mexico.
D+S C applies methods that actively engage community partners and the general public in shaping their environment by generating creative solutions and connections to both local and regional issues in urban and rural areas.

CULTURAL RESOURCE MANAGEMENT (CRM)
D+S Collaborative (D+S C) leads communities in re imagining underutilized places and historic assets by integrating cultural heritage, creativity, local knowledge and climate actions into planning and design.
Our mission is to inspire action and to support informed future planning decisions by the general public and community partners.
PUBLIC OUTREACH
Keystone Heritage Park, El Paso, Texas, located on El Camino Real de Tierra - a National Historic Trail. Partnered with local businesses, performing and fine arts.
COMMUNITY ENGAGED RESEARCH
"El Molino," an abandoned adobe mill located adjacent to the Regional Railrunner train station is historic site connected to Mainstreet.
ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT
Amador Hotel, located in Las Cruces, Organized an event highlighting the economic impact of historic places and the Creative Industries.
DATA VISUALIZATION
The New Mexico Highlands University is located in Historic Las Vegas, NM. Created GIS base map to represent the current tree inventory during climate resilience baseline assessment.

D + S COLLABORATIVE integrates cultural asset inventories and place based strategies to expand opportunities in the arts, tourism, and business to promote sustainable futures for all.
COMMUNITY ENGAGED RESEARCH
D + S COLLABORATIVE empowers citizens, students, and institutional partners through interactive research and design processes by organizing and leading community workshops and design charrettes.
DATA VISUALIZATION
By transforming complex cultural, environmental, and financial data into clear, compelling visual maps and diagrams, D + S COLLABORATIVE utilizes story mapping, drone imaging, and art-science research to uncover stories within cultural landscapes.
Projects guide an assessment process for strategic planning, community engagement, volunteer and specialist recruitment, while developing financial feasibility and organizational sustainability.
D + S Collaborative's creative thinking and visioning allowed our team to access the big picture, and view our cause from many different focal points. He was able to quickly recognize collaborative opportunities and identify various creative resources. The individual and group sessions were intentional and strategic in identifying gaps in our organization and recognizing creative solutions.
