Your First Day at Dataiku:
A Day 1 Email will be in your Dataiku email inbox as soon as you start. This will provide direction on how to get your Orientation started. The email will have the subject "🚀 Welcome to Your First Day at Dataiku!"
A warm welcome awaits you from your manager and team. If you're hybrid or office-based, you'll also meet our Workplace Experience team and some of your new colleagues!
Live sessions with IT & People Operations: All Dataikers need to attend these essential Day 1 sessions for legal and security requirements. You'll find the invitations in your Google Calendar.
Admin: You'll receive notifications to complete important tasks in Workday. Please complete these within your first week to ensure a smooth start.
E-learning: You'll receive an invitation to our learning portal, the Dataiku University, through your Dataiku email. The landing page will guide you through your first 90 days. Note: If you are on the sales or customer team, your landing page will include additional role-specific training (GTM Onboarding).
We prioritize your learning and the Company Orientation during this time, and your manager will ensure you have dedicated time for these activities.
E-learning Journey: Your first week is dedicated to comprehensive e-learning. You'll be introduced to Dataiku and our product, get up to speed on the latest AI industry trends, learn how we engage with and support our customers, and discover our company values and culture.
Dataiku Certification: As part of our global "AI Stars" program, you'll begin your certification journey through the Dataiku Academy. This program ensures all Dataikers develop strong foundations in both AI industry knowledge and Dataiku product expertise.
Manager 1:1: Your manager will meet with you one-to-one and introduce you to your team. Your manager may also introduce you to others in the organization.
Buddy Connection: Your manager will pair you with a team buddy who will help welcome you and guide you through any questions you have along the way.
Professional development:
30-60-90 Day Check-ins: Engage in formal touchpoint meetings with your manager at 30, 60, and 90 days to ensure you have the support needed to feel welcome and productive at Dataiku.
Meet the Dataiku Community:
Welcome Bonfires & Mixers: The Workplace Experience team organizes regular social meetings for newcomers, both in office and online, helping you build important social connections.
Meet the Leadership Sessions: You'll have the opportunity to meet Dataiku's leadership team and participate in open Q&A discussions.
Team/Department Meetings: Participate in regular "All-Hands" meetings within your department and function to better understand your part of the organization and connect with colleagues.
Company Orientation Requirements:
Interactive Live Workshops: You'll be expected to participate in various live interactive workshops focused on Dataiku's product, industry, company, and culture. These are offered on a rolling basis and you will be able to self-enroll into the sessions most convenient for you within the 90-day timeframe through the Dataiku University learning portal.
Compliance Training: All new hires must complete their compliance training within their first 30 days.
Dataiku Product Certification: All new hires need to complete a Dataiku product certification via the Dataiku Academy within the first 90 days (the minimum requirement is the Core Designer certification).
Additional Training:
Leadership Orientation: All new people managers are invited to attend a manager-specific orientation session.
Role-Specific Onboarding: Various teams around the company (e.g., sales, customer, R&D) run role-specific onboarding and training, in addition to the Company Orientation. You will receive separate communications regarding the structure and schedule.
