The Match includes disciplinary events showing cards issued to players during a match. Each event contains information about the penalized player, the match minute, and optionally, the reason or description of the foul.
Three types of card events are supported.
Yellow card: A yellow card is included in <incidence Incidence Type group="yellow Cards"> with these attributes:

Red card for double yellow: a second yellow card means a red card for double yellow card. This is included in two groups: <IncidenceType group="yellowCards"> and <IncidenceType group="redCards"> with these attributes:

Yellow card (first):
Adds +1 to the player’s and team’s total yellow cards.
Second yellow card (double yellow):
A second yellow results in a sending-off (red card). This event is counted as follows:
The total yellow cards include the second yellow.
The total red cards also include the expulsion resulting from the double yellow.
Direct red card:
Adds +1 to the total red cards. Does not affect the total yellow cards.
The total red cards count includes expulsions due to a second yellow.
The total yellow cards count includes the second yellow that triggers the red card.
The red card issued due to a second yellow represents the compensating factor between both totals (i.e., it is not subtracted from yellow totals).
Example: A player receives two yellow cards but no direct red cards, yet accumulates one yellow card and one red card (for two yellow cards).
