This 2-hour workshop aims to introduce participants to the concept of executive function and its relation to learning difficulties such as dyslexia.
The workshop will help participants gain awareness of the implications of executive function deficits on academic tasks, and as a result, gain insight into student behavior that is often referred to as lazy or unmotivated. The session then culminates with practical strategies and principles that parents and educators can adopt to enhance learning at home or in the classroom. These strategies strengthen learning and are beneficial for all students.
