Advocacy is an activity by an individual or group which aims to influence decisions within political, economic, and social systems and institutions.
UNITE SpLD includes an Advocacy stream to let those organisations and individuals share how they support students with learning differences. The advocacy stream is dedicated to your story, how you make a difference and how you help students with Specific Learning Differences.

This theme is aimed at creating a picture of what learning differences are and how students can be supported as well as help them to be more involved in their learning process, and help them to better understand what is expected of them in their learning processes.
Identification and Intervention stream provides a platform for educators to share about how teaching can be tailored to the needs and strengths of students with various learning difficulties.
