Design Exercise 2
Students collaborated in pairs to design, model, and build a fidget spinner. This exercise required a thorough understanding of mechanical precision highlighting gear design, part tolerancing, and assembly fits. Students used the 3DExperience Platform to model components, communicate effectively, delegate tasks, and manage deadlines.
Unique and creative design
Must fit within a 100-mm cube
Use only the supplied bearings and fasteners
Use bearings on at least one rotating part
Design and implement gears (1 meshing pair minimum)
