Sample Climate Surveys


These climate surveys were adapted from those used by the University of Michigan's ADVANCE Office. We worked closely with Dr. Abigail (Abby) Stewart, an expert in climate in higher education, to adapt the surveys and process to Dartmouth, including having Abby and her group pilot surveys in two departments at Dartmouth before we adopted them. A team of survey experts at Dartmouth shortened the surveys slightly. Original sources used in the development of the climate surveys include the following:
